A virus has been making the rounds – knocking out people three days at a time.Dr. Barbara Miller is a physician at the OU Family Medicine Center and says the stomach bug currently out there is a doozy – with symptoms that range from patient to patient.
“Fever, chills can happen, not everyone will get a fever with these things,” Miller said. “Nausea, vomiting, certainly , diarrhea, abdominal cramping."
Doctors say more and more patients are coming in, complaining of stomach illness.
“Most of the time I'm not sure there's a real rhyme or reason an epidemic starts, we tend to see a lot more of infectious illnesses in January, February, and March,” Tipton said.
