Bribed To Prescribe- US Sues Novartis for 80,000 Cases of Bribing Doctors

The U.S. is asking Novartis AG to provide records of about 80,000 “sham” events in which the government says doctors were wined and dined so they would prescribe the company’s cardiovascular drugs to their patients.
The Swiss drugmaker and the Manhattan U.S. Attorney are engaged in a whistle-blower lawsuit that alleges Novartis provided illegal kickbacks to health-care providers through bogus educational programs at high-end restaurants and sports bars where the drugs were barely discussed.
In a filing Friday, the U.S. said it needs Novartis to provide information to support its allegation that the company defrauded federal health-care programs of hundreds of millions of dollars over a decade by inducing doctors to prescribe its medications through sham speaker events.
“The requested documents go to the core issues in this case: whether educational materials were provided at these events; which doctors actually attended the events; READ MORE

Dear Pharmacist: Consider natural alternatives to antibiotics

Some of you take several antibiotics each and every day while some of you avoid them like the plague. The pros of a traditional antibiotic is that you can keep your infection from achieving full-blown status, or as some experts suggest, you chase the bugs into biofilms where they can"t be killed but your symptoms go away. Organisms that go into biofilm are going into "submission" for lack of a better word and they'll do that sometimes in the presence of an antibiotic.
Traditional antibiotics can cure pneumonia, or life-threatening infections from the deadly “kissing bug,” or hair ties. Yes, hair ties. Just Google Audree Kopp; she almost died from sepsis from from her hair tie. Point is, drugs are sometimes handy.
But I'm not convinced of their safety for long-term or less serious infection. They change who you are. When you take an antibiotic, you destroy your gut flora and that has an impact on your personality. That's why you need probiotics. Probiotics have an impact on your digestion, your mood and ability to fight cancer and infection.
A disadvantage of antibiotics is that you become resistant to them quickly. What will you do when they stop working? Think this out with me. Penicillin is just penicillin. It's easy for a germ to outsmart one ingredient. With something like garlic, there are at least 35 known active constituents making it super hard for a bug to get around and become a “superbug.”
I'm a pharmacist, trust me on this. My antibiotics are simple substances.READ MORE

Stomach Virus Making Rounds In Northeastern Oklahoma

TULSA, Oklahoma -
A virus has been making the rounds – knocking out people three days at a time.
Dr. Barbara Miller is a physician at the OU Family Medicine Center and says the stomach bug currently out there is a doozy – with symptoms that range from patient to patient.
“Fever, chills can happen, not everyone will get a fever with these things,” Miller said. “Nausea, vomiting, certainly , diarrhea, abdominal cramping."
Doctors say more and more patients are coming in, complaining of stomach illness.
“Most of the time I'm not sure there's a real rhyme or reason an epidemic starts, we tend to see a lot more of infectious illnesses in January, February, and March,” Tipton said.
And the bug gets around quickly. READ MORE

Public Health Officials Know: Recently Vaccinated Individuals Spread Disease

Washington, D.C., March 3, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Physicians and public health officials know that recently vaccinated individuals can spread disease and that contact with the immunocompromised can be especially dangerous. For example, the Johns Hopkins Patient Guide warns the immunocompromised to "Avoid contact with children who are recently vaccinated," and to "Tell friends and family who are sick, or have recently had a live vaccine (such as chicken pox, measles, rubella, intranasal influenza, polio or smallpox) not to visit."1
A statement on the website of St. Jude's Hospital warns parents not to allow people to visit children undergoing cancer treatment if they have received oral polio or smallpox vaccines within four weeks, have received the nasal flu vaccine within one week, or have rashes after receiving the chickenpox vaccine or MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine.2
"The public health community is blaming unvaccinated children for the outbreak of measles at Disneyland, but the illnesses could just as easily have occurred due to contact with a recently vaccinated individual,"READ MORE

How the media promote fake research on viruses

by Jon Rappoport

(To read about Jon’s mega-collection, Power Outside The Matrix, click here.)
My readers know I’ve taken apart the ridiculous hoax called the Zika virus. This hoax isn’t limited to Zika.
So I thought I’d lay out the pattern the media use time after time, with these “epidemics.”
One: An outbreak is announced.
Two: Early on, a virus is named as the cause. H1N1. The coronavirus. Zika.
Three: The press uses statements like these: “The (virus) infection is spreading.” “New cases have been found.” “Transmission by sex is confirmed.” “Highly contagious.” “The World Health Organization has declared a state of emergency.” “A traveler from X, arriving at Y, was found to be infected.” “Carriers of the virus.”
These statements are meant to induce fear. They present a picture of motion and invasion. The virus goes from country A to country B. It’s on the march.
Four: Here is another set of statements the press promotes:READ MORE
