My thoughts for 2013

"First I want to thank everyone who has viewed my site or ordered my silver. You could have went to any number of places but you came here. Thank You. Over the past year I have discovered much joy in helping folks, many who seemed to be at the end of their rope. I have been a remolding contractor for 25 years and while seeing the joy in people's eyes after re doing their bathroom, it just isn't the same as getting a letter saying my colloidal silver may have just saved their life.

I have seen a steady awakening over the past year. More and more folks are not buying the mainstream media propaganda. They are doing their own research in vaccines, GMO Foods, toxic fluoride, pharmaceuticals, chemtrails, banking, and the list just goes on and on. I see a huge shift moving back into the homeopathic remedies and for me ionic and colloidal silver is at the top of the list. While the FDA mandates that I can't say I cured anything using silver I will tell you that over the past year my successful treatments include: Kidney, bladder and yeast infections, pink eye, styes, planters warts, jock itch, toenail fungus, many many sinus infections, the flu, many skin burns, and more.

Through your testimonials, I continually refine dosages to provide the latest info on the success' of colloidal and ionic silver. So keep sending them in.   Stay safe, and stay well for 2014." beinki.

understanding PPM (parts per million)

I recently received this question from a reader and thought I would post it.

Hello. I have a few questions regarding your product. I am a 31 year old male who has had some health problems the past few years, all stemming from a yeast/candida systematic overgrowth as well as pathogen/bacteria overgrowth in my body. As a result I have chronic fatigue, bloating after eating, as well as acne. I have done tons of research on ionic colloidal silver the past few days for killing bad bacteria/pathogens/yeast/candida/etc and saving the keep gut bacteria if the product is 10 ppm or smaller. I am looking for a product that is preferably 7 ppm as I have read that is even more effective. I just know the smaller the better in terms of killing the bad and keeping the good. Can you tell me more about your product and if you think this would help my problem?
Thank you so much for anything you can help me with. This is all really confusing to me.  B

Dear B,
Yes I know I can help your problem. I use my 20 ppm setting as I want to pass along the best quality product I can make. Do not worry about the ppm from 7 to 20 because it is quite frankly not a big issue. What is important is size. let me explain. If you have a solution of 20 parts per million, ppm, and that 20ppm is the size of a bowling ball in a pool, it is not going to be effective as it is to large a particle to do any good. But if you smash that bowling ball into 100,000 bb's you still have the same 20 ppm but now you have tiny particles that can kill the pathogen without side effects and with out building up in the body causing argyria.   Also

The Silver Lungs generator I use makes sizes that are amongst the smallest in the industry (as small as 1.9 nm's) and with an average size of 8.4 nm's.
It is important to note that the average particle size range (8.4 nanometers) stated for our product is based on particles of pure silver metal (i.e. actual colloidal silver by proper definition) rather than silver oxide particles unwittingly created during TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy) analysis. Silver oxide is by no means the same thing as pure metallic silver.

I would suggest two products for your issue. First is the 16 0unce jar of blended silver-it is half ionic and half colloidal to be taken internally, take one tablespoon every morning and evening untill gone, holding it under your tongue before swallowing. This will help clean your blood, gut and organs etc. Second use the 16 ounce ionic silver, it come clear in the brown bottle to protect it from uv rays. use this topically on the acne or rashes, burns infections etc.three times a day-let air dry.

You would be looking at $25 for the 16oz blended silver and $25 for the 16oz ionic silver and $15 shipping. total of $65 plus I will throw in a free two ounce ionic spray bottle for you. Just use my paypal donation button and I will ship USPS and email you the tracking #. If you have different quantities in mind let me know. Take care. Beinki

Hospital Infections Kill 48,000 in U.S. Each Year

Researchers examined hospital discharge records in 40 states between 1998 and 2006 in drawing their conclusions about the potential death toll from pneumonia and sepsis -- two of the most common hospital-acquired infections. They also calculated that these infections cost $8.1 billion to treat and lead to 2.3 million total days of hospitalization.READ MORE   ALSO:

Superbug' bacteria widespread in U.S. chicken: consumer group

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - About half of the raw chicken breasts in a nationwide sampling carried antibiotic-resistant "superbug" bacteria, a U.S. consumer group said on Thursday, calling for stricter limits on use of the medicines on livestock.
It could be more difficult to treat people if they became ill after eating chicken with the antibiotic-resistant bacteria, said Consumer Reports, which describes itself as the world's largest independent product-testing organization.
The group said it tested for six types of bacteria in 316 raw chicken breasts purchased from retailers nationwide during July. Almost all of the samples contained potentially harmful bacteria, it said. READ MORE

New Harvard paper slams FDA, says agency 'cannot be trusted

(NaturalNews) A prominent Harvard University professor has compiled a new report that slams the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its failure to honestly and ethically approve new drugs. Set to be published in a special issue of the Journal of Law, Medicine & Ethics, the damning report declares that the FDA "cannot be trusted," noting that virtually all new drugs approved by the agency over the past 30 years are little or no better than existing drugs already on the market.

Entitled "Institutional Corruption of Pharmaceuticals and the Myth of Safe and Effective Drugs," the report by Professor Donald W. Light provides solid evidence to show that the FDA is nothing more than a pay-for-play front group that caters strictly to the interests of the pharmaceutical industry.READ MORE

FDA seeks tougher rules on antibacterial soaps

WASHINGTON — The federal government said Monday it has no evidence that antibacterial chemicals used in liquid soaps and washes help prevent the spread of germs, and it is reviewing research suggesting they may pose health risks.
Regulators at the Food and Drug Administration said they are revisiting the safety of chemicals such as triclosan in light of recent studies suggesting the substances can interfere with hormone levels and spur the growth of drug-resistant bacteria.
The government's preliminary ruling lends new support to outside researchers who have long argued that the chemicals are, at best, ineffective and at worst, a threat to public health.
"The FDA is finally making a judgment call here and asking industry to show us that these products are better than soap and water, and the data don't substantiate that," said Stuart Levy of Tufts University School of Medicine.
Under a proposed rule released Monday, the agency will require manufacturers to prove that antibacterial soaps and body washes are safe and more effective than plain soap and water. READ MORE  Of course this is where I say "Got Silver?" beinki

Nano silver in orthopaedics

One of medicine's primary objectives is to trick the body into doing something it doesn't want to do. We try to convince our immune systems to attack cancer cells (our immune systems don't normally attack our own bodies), we try to convince neurons to regrow (another unnatural phenomenon), and we try to convince the body to accept foreign bits, such as someone else's kidney or a fake bone. In order to accomplish this, we try to make parts of our bodies we don't want, such as cancers, look foreign. We try to make foreign bits that we do want, such as orthopaedic implants, look natural. Nanotechnology, as you might have guessed, can help us do just that. READ MORE

Antibiotics don't cure the flu

It's flu season. And we're all about to crisscross the country to exchange hugs, kisses, and germs. We're going to get sick. And when we do, many of us will run to our doctors and, hoping to get better, demand antibiotics.
And that's the problem: Antibiotics don't cure the flu (which is viral, not bacterial), but the overprescription of antibiotics imperils us all by driving antibiotic resistance. This threat is growing, so much so that in a recent widely read Medium article, Wired science blogger and self-described "scary disease girl" Maryn McKenna painted a disturbingly plausible picture of a world in which antibiotics have become markedly less effective. That future is the focus of McKenna's interview this week on the Inquiring Minds podcast: READ MORE

Gastric Virus hits the elderly

A HIGHLY contagious gastric virus has struck down hundreds of elderly residents in South Australian nursing homes.
More than 500 gastroenteritis cases have been reported in the past month and most are norovirus cases in aged care.
A Hope Valley nursing home has been in lockdown since mid-November but it is not the hardest hit.
It has recorded about 18 cases but an unnamed home has recorded 84 and three others have had more than 30 cases each.
At Hope Valley's LHI Retirement Services, "Stop" signs on the nursing home doors warn of a gastro outbreak.
Resident services general manager Megan De Vries said only one section of the nursing home had been affected and relatives had been understanding. As well as 13 sick residents, about five staff had contracted the virus. READ MORE

New Virus Killing dogs, no Big Pharma vaccine

A new virus is striking dogs in the middle of the country, and if not treated, it has the potential to kill an infected animal in just days. There's no vaccine. In other animals, it's been highly infectious, and scientists still can't say with certainty how it's transmitted. What is certain is this disease could be deadly, especially in kennel settings. Even though cases have been limited to just three states so far - California, Michigan, and Ohio – some Richmond Vets fear it's just a matter of time until it makes its way here.
Dr. Olivia Pan is keeping up with all of the latest information for when it does, because early study results are frightening.
"They're suspecting the dogs can bleed into their cavities, their chest into their abdomen, and those are some of the more serious ones that would bleed to their deaths," said Dr. Pan.
It's called circovirus. Vets have been aware of it for years but mainly in pig populations - it can decimate a hog farm in just a week. READ MORE

IBM makes polymer that kills MRSA bacteria

As humanity continues to carpet bomb the microscopic world with antibiotics, the enemy is fighting back. Antibiotic resistance is on the rise, and that can mean painful or life-threatening infections for those unfortunate enough to come into contact with such organisms. One of the most common resistant bacteria is methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), but researchers at IBM are working on a potential treatment that relies on polymers instead of drugs.
In the process of developing computer chips a number of years ago, IBM engineers identified polymers that allowed them the carefully control electrostatic charge and improve wafer etching. IBM decided to see if this technology could have applications outside of microprocessor design, and they turned to MRSA. Vaccines cause whooping cough

A new study published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences shows that the whooping cough vaccines that have been in use since the 1990s — and not kids whose parents refuse the whooping cough vaccine — are actually behind the surge in whooping cough outbreaks across the U.S.
This news flies in the face of scads of articles that have come out in the past few years claiming unvaccinated children are behind whooping cough outbreaks. One such article is Time Magazine’s, “Parents Not Vaccinating Kids Contributed to Whooping Cough Outbreaks” reported on back in September. Time cited research published in the Journal of Pediatrics — research that involved at least one author who disclosed financial ties to Big Pharma vaccine makers Sanofi Pasteur and GlaxoSmithKline — the two companies that just so happen to produce all the pertussis vaccines available in the U.S.
(Even the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) admits that unvaccinated children are not responsible for whooping cough outbreaks, by the way.) READ MORE

Lyme disease update

Hi beinki,

I wanted to follow up with you about the colloidal and ionic silver and the mud (Bentonite clay)you sent. I've been on three harsh oral antibiotics since early October (I had started with one in September) and people keep asking why I haven't had any problems with yeast. I've taken probiotics and I'm certain that has helped, but I'm also quite sure the colloidal silver has helped as well. My skin has broken out on my face, chest, and back, and the mud has been amazing in helping to clear that up. I was bitten by a spider about three weeks ago, and I think a spider bite was the cause of the current infection. This time, I applied the ionic sliver and the mud, as you had suggested, and I had no symptoms as far as I could determine. The ionic silver has also been very helpful in assuaging the itching I have gotten as a side effect or Herxheimer reaction (can't tell which). I'm hoping that the colloidal silver is helping to carry the toxins out of my system and maybe kill a few other errant invaders on the way through!

Soon I will be ready to order more, so I'll be back in touch with you within the next couple of weeks. I wonder if you have any questions for me? And I noticed on your site that you'd done your own experiment on Candida and I wondered how that turned out?

I still feel pretty crappy, but I return to the Lyme doctor on Wednesday to find out what is next. Hope all is well with you. Thank you again so much for everything; I'm sure I'm doing so much better thanks to your help.

Thanks for sharing C. It helps us all learn from the experience of others as to applications, dosages etc. beinki

Deer Hunters use Colloidal Silver to hide their smell

Like germs, odors are everywhere. Hormones, chemicals, what we eat and even where we live affect how we smell. Regardless of the source, whitetails and other game animals quickly learn to associate human odors with danger, avoiding hunters like the plague. The trick is to prevent deer and other critters from winding you.
Oh, if only it were that simple! Scientists have found that whitetails can smell human scent farther than bloodhounds and can detect up to six different odors at once. This means the cover scent you applied before going hunting won’t necessarily prevent deer from smelling your body odor, the gas you pumped on your way to the stand or the pepperoni pizza you ate for lunch. More Americans die each year from antibiotic-resistant bacteria than AIDS

“We’re in the post-antibiotic era,” Dr. Arjun Srinivasan, the deputy director of the US Centers for Disease Control, tells PBS. His agency just reported that at least 23,000 Americans die each year from antibiotic-resistant infections, more than the 15,000 who die from AIDS, notes health researcher Bill Gardener. And we’re running out of options.
Since penicillin became the first widely-used drug to fight infections in the 1940s, the success of antibiotics in killing germs has had evolutionary consequences: Germs that are genetically predisposed to survive these drugs have grown more numerous, some even transmitting resistance to other germs. This has resulted in an arms race between nature and pharmaceutical researchers trying to develop new medicines to target germs like Clostridium difficle, one of three strains the CDC has identified as urgent threats:READ MORE

An Indepth History of Silver

Since ancient times silver has been highly regarded as a versatile healing tool. In ancient Greece, Rome, Phoenicia, and Macedonia, silver was used extensively to control infections and spoilage. Hippocrates, the “Father of Medicine,” taught that silver healed wounds and controlled disease. Around 400 B.C. he listed as a singular treatment for ulcers “the flowers of silver alone, in the finest powder.” Herodotus describes how the King of Persia carried with him boiled water in silver flagons to prevent sickness. In 69 B.C., silver nitrate was described in the contemporary pharmacopoeia.
The popularity of medicinal silver especially arose throughout the Middle East from 702 A.D. through 980 A.D. where it was widely used and esteemed for blood purification, heart conditions, and used to control halitosis. READ MORE

flu vaccine causes Guillain-Barré

First, let’s start with the indisputable facts: the seasonal flu vaccine causes Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS). Just read the package insert of any commercially available flu vaccine. The manufacturers and government health officials concede this fact. If you go to an emergency room with sudden onset of GBS symptoms, the first question the doctors will ask you is: “Did you recently get the flu shot?”
The only thing that is disputed is: how many people does it affect?
The government’s official response is that the flu vaccination causes two cases of GBS per one million doses. From what I can tell, the rationale for those numbers mainly comes from here, and here. Most flu vaccine manufacturers’ packet inserts, however, are still listing the old numbers at one out of one million.
But are these rates accurate? PLEASE READ MORE

Size is important

The following is taken from the Silver Lungs SITE:
The Silver Lungs generator makes particle sizes that are amongst the smallest in the industry (as small as 1.9 nm's) and with an average size of 8.4 nm's. We have run multiple lab analysis of our main competitors and clearly show the smallest (confirmed) silver nano-particles by comparison.

Remember that most electrolysis-type silver generators produce almost entirely ionic solutions rather than pure metallic silver particle based solutions. When using the TEM process to analyze an ionic silver solution, the ions will be forced to combine with ambient oxygen when the water is evaporated and will immediately form silver oxide particles of a very small size. At that point, there is a new form of silver created that was not in the original solution to begin with. These newly formed (ultra small) silver oxide particles are incorrectly assumed to be pure metallic particles of silver and are passed off to the un-discerning consumer. Thus, the TEM analysis purported on other sites are invalid as the only thing found in the image are silver ions combined with oxygen.

These newly created silver oxide particles (created as a byproduct of TEM analysis) are found to be roughly .0008 microns in diameter or 0.8 nanometers when using the proper unit of measure rather than measuring in microns. A comparable example of using the wrong unit of measure would be akin to measuring the length of a small parking lot in kilometers rather than meters. This is why silver solutions are referred to as "nano-silver", not "micron-silver." So, when measuring (nano sized) material in microns, this creates confusion to the consumer who does not know the difference between microns and nanometers. 1 micron = 1,000 nanometers.

In short. I make both ionic AND true colloidal silver with the silver lungs generator. beinki

medical errors the third-leading cause of death in America

It seems that every time researchers estimate how often a medical mistake contributes to a hospital patient’s death, the numbers come out worse.
In 1999, the Institute of Medicine published the famous “To Err Is Human” report, which dropped a bombshell on the medical community by reporting that up to 98,000 people a year die because of mistakes in hospitals. The number was initially disputed, but is now widely accepted by doctors and hospital officials 2014 and quoted ubiquitously in the media.
In 2010, the Office of Inspector General for Health and Human Services said that bad hospital care contributed to the deaths of 180,000 patients in Medicare alone in a given year. READ MORE

Antibiotic-resistant gonorrhea, urgent public-health threat

Antibiotic-resistant gonorrhea, a diarrhea-causing superbug and a class of fast-growing killer bacteria dubbed a "nightmare" were classified as urgent public-health threats in the United States on Monday.(not for those who use colloidal silver-beinki)
According to a new report by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), at least 2 million people in the United States develop serious bacterial infections that are resistant to one or more types of antibiotics each year, and at least 23,000 die from the infections.
"For organism after organism, we're seeing this steady increase in resistance rates," Dr Thomas Frieden, director of the CDC, said in a telephone interview. "We don't have new drugs about to come out of the pipeline. If and when we get new drugs, unless we do a better job of protecting them, we'll lose those, also."
Overprescribing of antibiotics is a chief cause of antibiotic resistance. READ MORE

New type of virus killing dogs

"A scary new disease is killing dogs!" proclaims headlines across the country. "A new virus is emerging and dogs are dying. Doctors are baffled." Within the space of just a few short days, fanned by the flames of fear and robust social media involvement, the dire news of circovirus spread….well, like a virus.

The only problem is, as so often happens in these sorts of cases, rumor became fact long before the actual facts were known. The Ohio Department of Agriculture is now trying its best to do damage control and ensure the veterinary and dog owning community gets accurate information, but the genie's out of the bottle. So what really happened? READ MORE

Whooping cough reaches epidemic level in Texas

Whooping cough has reached epidemic proportions in Texas with nearly 2,000 cases reported so far this year, including two infants who died, according to health officials.
The children were too young to receive the whooping cough vaccine, state officials said. The overall number of cases likely will surpass the recent high of 3,358 in 2009, according to the state health services department.
"We're clearly having an epidemic," said Dr. Carol Baker, the director of the Center for Vaccine Awareness and Research at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston.
Dr. Lisa Cornelius, Texas infectious diseases medical officer, said: "This is extremely concerning. Pertussis is highly infectious and can cause serious complications, especially in babies, so people should take it seriously."
Pertussis, or whooping cough, is a bacterial infection that often begins with cold-like symptoms and a mild cough, followed a week or two later by severe coughing that can last for several weeks. Actress Gwyneth Paltrow uses coloidal silver

On the August 29, 2013 episode of The Dr. Oz Show, both Dr. Oz and well-known actress Gwyneth Paltrow endorsed colloidal silver usage. Here is a partial transcript. (From Steve Bawicks site)
Gwyneth Paltrow
Gwyneth Paltrow: (taking the bottle of colloidal silver and holding it up)  Okay.  Well, people think I’m insane because when I get on an airplane, when I get to my seat, I spray this all over my seat, and then under my tongue, because the research says that colloidal silver really keeps viruses away.  It’s a real viral-repellant.  So I use that a lot, especially when we’re traveling.  I spray the kid’s seats and people think “What is this crazy woman doing?”
Dr. Oz:  This actually was the first antibiotic.  It was silver.
Gwyneth Paltrow:  Was it?
Dr. Oz:  Yes.  They used to put silver coins in milk to keep the milk clean.  These are accepted therapies. And you know, we haven’t thought about it very much, because we have antibiotics.  But this is a very smart way of killing of stuff.  We actually, in our family, are crazy about squirting it in our throat.  It’s our throat spray, our everyday throat spray.   We squirt it in there, and off we go.  Do you do that too?
Gwyneth Paltrow:  Yes, absolutely.
Dr. Oz:  What do you think of the taste?

Gwyneth Paltrow:  I don’t think it’s so bad.  It’s pretty mellow.
Dr. Oz:  It’s pretty neutral.  But we have some fun home remedies for making it taste more palatable for the kids.  If you make it taste good for the kids, they actually will believe it’s something important for them.  Okay?
Gwyneth Paltrow:  That’s true!

Colloidal silver used to control candida overgrowth

Excessive yeast in the body can lead to a number of chronic conditions, but reversal is possible with dietary changes. Candida, or yeast, is present in the body, and is kept in check against overgrowth thanks to the good bacteria found in our intestines. However, this balance can be interrupted by a number of factors, including taking antibiotics, birth control pills and excessive sugar in the diet, and yeast can grow and begin to cause many uncomfortable symptoms and inflammatory conditions. Silver Heals again

Last weekend I received two more testimonials for my ionic silver. The first comes from a friend who was using it for maintenance and just happened to get a 2nd degree burn on his ankle due to a farming accident. After putting ice on it he sprayed it with ionic silver and felt the pain disappear and reduced swelling. This was his first experience of seeing the healing power of silver and felt compelled to call me with the news and says he will send pics in the future. The second testimonial comes from my wife's cousin who had cancer surgery and sprayed the silver on the incision where the cancer was removed. She said it healed so well the skin started growing over the stitches. She said the Doctor was astounded to see the healing upon her follow up visit. Do you have a story to tell? email me  regards, beinki

Swim at your own risk

Because a pool is treated with chlorine, this does not mean that all risks have been eliminated. This is because chlorine does not kill all germs instantly. There are germs today that are very tolerant to chlorine and were not known to cause human disease until recently.
Seven-times Olympic medalist and mom Amanda Beard has teamed up with the U.S. CDC to promote a swimming campaign, with the aim of promoting ‘healthy’ swimming.
According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the U.S. health organization and Amanda Beard are teaming up to encourage people to take steps to protect themselves and their family and friends while swimming.READ MORE

Silver Colloids Lab results

Back to school means back to germs

"Once again it is back to school time and if you have elementary aged school children you know they will get sick. The CDC reports the youngsters will get sick several times a year. My son would routinely come home with a cold or flu especially right after the start of a new school year, but this was before I knew about colloidal silver. I would strongly recommend you purchase a colloidal silver generator and make it yourself, it will pay for itself soon enough. Put some in a spry bottle and put it your child's backpack and keep some in the kitchen when they get home to spray on their hands. No one in my family has taken any prescription antibiotics since we discovered silver. Let this be your wake up call. Stay safe, stay well." beinki

Silver coating kills bacteria on campus door handles

Can a door handle keep you healthy?
That depends on what’s on it. Most are teeming with bacteria: staph, E. coli, Enterococcus and sometimes even Salmonella. That stuff can make you sick.
Doors in the Reed, Prischak, Burke and Junker buildings at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, are now coated with something different: Agion silver, an antimicrobial compound that doctors put on catheters and heart valves. Moisture – in this case, the sweat and oils on a person’s hand – activates the silver ions, which bind to the bacteria’s cell walls. The cells die, and the surface is cleaner. READ MORE

Silver Sunburn

"I was pretty stupid - I got a really bad sunburn on my shoulder and arm Saturday - I though I'd be in the shade the whole time at a local fair - I sat there almost 4 hours and the sun was brutal - I knew I was getting burned, but I was stuck. I moved when I could, but...

The next day the shoulder and arm exposed to the sun was, I kid you not, blood red and more than sore - like 1000 bees stinging - I sprayed the colloidal silver and the pain just melted away - it's amazing!

soon as it starts to hurt again I just spray a little more

this stuff is great, it really works

course next time I'm going to bring an umbrella."

The Middle East having difficulty fighting bacteria

Multi-drug-resistant gram-negative bacteria, such as ESBL and KPC, are a huge challenge globally, especially in the Middle East region, where the resistance rates are only just above 50 per cent and the burden in the community is as high as 10 per cent, says a microbiologist.
Extended spectrum beta lactamase (ESBL) are bacteria that live in the human bowel and have mutated to produce an enzyme that inactivates many antibiotics while Klebsiella pneumoniae carbapanemase (KPC) producing bacteria can cause infections associated with significant morbidity and mortality. “There are no new antibiotics on the way into the clinical practice within the next 10 years that may contribute to improve the situation. Therefore, the treatment of ESBL or KPC-infections is difficult...Infection prevention and control is the only solution to combat with these pathogens. In vitro Study: Colloidal Silver prevents Aids Virus Spreading

In spite of the fact that it has not yet been fully embraced by the medical community as an anti-viral agent, nevertheless, safe, natural mineral silver, in a variety of forms, including colloidal silver, has nearly three decades worth of solid medical research behind it, demonstrating its powerful anti-viral qualities.
Indeed, newer clinical laboratory research demonstrates that silver is so powerfully effective against viruses, it even stops the deadly HIV (i.e., the AIDs virus) from infecting human cells. And older research dating back to the 1980’s demonstrates that silver can stop numerous types of viruses from replicating, simply by bonding to them.
In fact, silver altogether decimates many viruses, simply by being in close contact with them. READ MORE

New Virus found in Missouri woods

The mystery actually began with two Missouri farmers who came down with a strange illness in 2009. They had high fevers, diarrhea and nausea. Their platelet counts dropped dramatically, though they didn't experience any abnormal bleeding.
Doctors thought it was a bacterial infection. But antibiotics didn't help. So a quick-thinking physician at in St. Joseph, Mo., sent the men's blood to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. When virologists looked at the samples under the microscope, they discovered a virus that no one had ever seen before. They named it the HEARTLAND VIRUS, in honor of its origin and the Midwest. Highly Contagious Disease Spreading Among Local Children

Philadelphia doctors are warning that the water is helping to spread a highly contagious disease that puts children, particularly infants and toddlers, at risk.
It’s called hand, foot and mouth disease, and it's caused by the coxsackie virus. Symptoms of hand, foot and mouth include fever, headache, loss of appetite and painful blisters that form on the palms of hands, soles of feet and lips -- hence the name (not to be confused with foot-and-mouth disease, a virus that can cause lockjaw in cattle and be fatal).
Doctors say children spread it in fountains, pools daycares, playgrounds and at home. They also say it’s extremely contagious among toddlers who haven’t been exposed to the virus before. READ MORE Got Silver? beinki

Antibiotics in infancy linked to eczema

In a new review of previous research, children who took antibiotics in their first year of life were about 40 percent more likely to develop eczema, an itchy skin disorder.

Kids' exposure to antibiotics taken by their mothers during pregnancy was not tied to the common rash, however, according to the results published in the British Journal of Dermatology.

Experts said the new study supports the idea that antibiotics destroy intestinal microbes that play an important role in the immune system's development after birth.  READ MORE

Silver nanoparticles prevent infection, including AIDS

Viruses are very small, in fact, about 100 times smaller than any bacteria. They were "discovered" by a succession of scientists in the late 19th century and can only be seen by the human eye under an electron microscope. Measured in nanometers, they are so very small that they barely seem to be part of our physical world. They are the size of atomic particles and like other particles, at times, they can behave like waves.
They are extremely simple entities. Unlike their more complex bacterial counterparts, they do not possess their own means of reproduction. Viruses are reliant on a living host to replicate. They can remain dormant for long periods of time, until they find a suitable environment. Then they invade the body of a cell and assume control of its genetic code and cause it to begin replicating the virus.
Another important difference between the two is that some bacteria are beneficial to human beings; but viruses are never anything but destructive. READ MORE

Ionic silver grows finger back

After two more silver sprayings her gashes were markedly improved by only this morning! This confirms by belief in the cell regenerative properties of colloidal and ionic silver.” beinki

Improve your canning process using ionic silver.

Colloidal silver or ionic silver is the perfect choice to extend the shelf life of canned foods. It can easily be added to the Boiling water bath canning method or any canning method you use. Microbial growth is the main factor in food spoilage so I suggest adding  1 tablespoon of 10 ppm colloidal silver per quart when home-canning, especially if you’re using the boiling-water-bath method. Seal the lids as per usual. And for long-term storage of beverages like tomato juice, vegetable juices and water is to add one ounce of 10 ppm colloidal silver per gallon. You can learn more about canning through the University of Missouri Extension Center HERE and join their canning classes.

How Environmentalists Are Destroying the Market for Antimicrobial Silver

another great post from Steve...
For the past 12 years the American public has been clamoring for more consumer products that utilize antimicrobial silver in order to help reduce levels of infectious microorganisms and prevent infections and disease.

But the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has thrown roadblock after roadblock into the paths of companies willing to meet the growing public demand for products that utilize antimicrobial silver, even to the point of stringently enforcing their strange categorization of antimicrobial silver as a “pesticide,” and imposing mounds of new regulations (which we’ll look at in this article) making it more difficult for companies to bring such products to market.

Worse yet, whenever a company agrees to jump through the EPA’s regulatory hoops in order to manufacture a product containing antimicrobial silver, litigious environmental groups emerge out of the woodwork to file lawsuits against the EPA in order to prevent the agency from allowing the product to be manufactured and sold to the American public.READ MORE

Gardasil and Cervarix Don’t Work says Vaccine Developer

Dr. Diane Harper was the lead researcher in the development of the human papilloma virus vaccines, Gardasil and Cervarix. She is the latest to come forward and question the safety and effectiveness of these vaccines.
From the manufacturers own admissions, the vaccine only works on 4 strains out of 40 for a specific venereal disease that dies on its own in a relatively short period, so the chance of it actually helping an individual is about about the same as the chance of him being struck by a meteorite. Why do nine-year-old girls need vaccinations for extremely rare and symptom-less venereal diseases that the immune system usually kills anyway?  READ MORE
