Government releasing Bacteria!!

The federal government Wednesday will begin releasing bacteria at Red Line MBTA stations in Cambridge and Somerville at set times to test sensors designed to detect biological agents that could be released in a terrorist attack.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority said in a press release Monday that the harmless bacteria is non-infectious and the tests will be performed when the stations are closed. READ MORE

Pink eye outbreak

Conjunctivitis
TIFTON, GA -
Optometrists are urging folks to wash their hands and avoid touching their eyes because they are seeing a rash of very severe pink eye cases.
It's gotten so bad that Optometrists at South Georgia Eye partners say last week they saw up to three new cases a day per doctor in Valdosta and Tifton.
Doctors are reporting similar cases in Ben Hill and Irwin Counties too.
Pink eye is very contagious, and it can easily be passed around especially at schools and daycares.READ MORE

Viewer Comment from my video

"ON a more serious note, I can confirm that this "mineral supplement" that I have been producing for years has in fact cured many things. I use it almost daily still for general hygiene like a mouth wash and intimate wash, works wonders! Coming from Scotland I can if I like say it cures everything as FDA have nothing on my country. I even spoke to my dentist and doctors about it, they seriously do almost freak out, but then on-the-side are impressed with what I have been able to achieve." linuxsapien

CIB arrests employers in stealing colloidal silver

The China Post news staff--The Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) arrested two solar energy company employers for insider stealing of valuable material colloidal silver.
The two suspects, apparently taking their cue from another insider colloidal silver heist busted by the CIB in April, stole a total of over 80 kg of the materials during work and then extracted silver from it for sale. The materials are silver particles in a colloidal base used in the production of solar batteries. The two tendered their resignation shortly after the heist and worked in other technology companies. Pharmacist suggests colloidal silver for chicken pox scabs

A reader whose two children are recovering from chickenpox asks for advice on helping the scabs to heal without leaving scars. Pharmacist Shabir Daya says, ‘The best remedy to encourage quick healing is a warm bath twice daily, with two tablespoonfuls of sodium bicarbonate. This encourages the scabs to drop more quickly, and being alkaline, calms the skin and eases itching.’
Once the scabs have fallen off, he suggests applying rosehip oil twice daily: ‘It’s rich in essential fatty acids and helps scar tissue to heal.’ As an extra measure, it may help to add one spray of colloidal silver to the oil,
as silver is a well-known skin-healing agent and has antimicrobial properties. Plasters incorporating silver are wonderful for speeding wound healing. READ MORE

Bird flu claims ninth victim this year in Indonesia

An Indonesian man has died of bird flu, the health ministry said, in the country's ninth fatal case this year.
"The deceased was a self-employed 37-year-old male," according to the report on the ministry's website.
The man was hospitalised on July 24 with a high fever and was placed on a ventilator five days later, according to the report. He died on July 30.
Authorities do not know how the man contracted the virus, but said he lived near poultry farms.
Indonesia has been hardest-hit by bird flu, with 159 fatalities reported since 2003 out of 359 worldwide, according to World Health Organization figures, which include the latest death.READ MORE

Will humans lose the battle with microbes?

Bacteria have become increasingly resistant to the drugs we've come to rely on. Only a concerted effort can avert a public health crisis.

August 06, 2012|By Daniel J. Stone
Consider an all-too-common scenario: You're burning up from a high fever after a routine surgical procedure, and an infection specialist is called to help treat your problem. You assume that a short course of antibiotics will quickly turn things around. But the specialist candidly admits: "I'm sorry, I can't treat your infection. You've got a resistant bacteria, a super bug."  Any of us might hear those frightening words sooner than we think.
Antibiotics once seemed like a miracle weapon in our fight against microbes that have plagued mankind for millenniums, killing untold numbers of people with wounds and serious infections. But we're in danger of losing that weapon. Over the years, bacteria have grown increasingly resistant to these drugs. READ MORE

Many Pharmaceutical Antibiotics contain FLUORIDE!

Symptoms of Fluoride Poisoning

As with other toxins, fluoride affects different individuals differently. Symptoms can vary widely and depend on many factors, such as one’s genetic predispositions, body burden (overall body accumulation from all sources), mode of exposure, and length of exposure time (whether acute, as in the workplace, or chronic, as with ingestion of fluoridated water and food).
Dental Fluorosis
Also involved are synergistic effects that occur, for instance, when fluoride enhances other drugs people may be taking, or by combining with substances in the water and forming even more potent toxins (such as with Aluminum Fluoride, a dangerous neurotoxin).
Fluoride poisoning can be manifested in seemingly harmless symptoms, such as white spots in teeth (dental fluorosis), or chronic problems, such as arthritic joints, or more serious problems, including respiratory disease or cancer, or a complex of problems, whether acute or chronic. READ MORE

New flu virus can pass from pigs to people

By Elizabeth Weise, USA TODAY 8-3-2012

A cluster of flu cases linked to contact with pigs has doctors at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warning people to wash up and avoid eating around animals as they attend county and state fairs.

The new influenza strain sickened at least 12 people last week. All cases involved recent contact with pigs at agricultural fairs. Hawaii and Indiana each has one case, and 10 were linked to last week's Butler County Fair in Ohio. Four other cases have been linked to a county fair in Indiana that ran July 8-14. None resulted in hospitalization or death.
The new flu goes by the name influenza A (H3N2) variant, or H3N2v, and was first identified in humans a year ago, says Joseph Bresee of the CDC Influenza Division. Of the 29 cases that have been reported so far, 80% "had swine contact before getting ill and most of that contact was at county fairs," he said. READ MORE

Trader Joes chicken salads recalled for potentially fatal bacteria

More than two tons of prepared barbecue chicken salads sold at Trader Joe’s supermarkets have been recalled because they may contain red onions contaminated by a potentially deadly bacteria, USDA officials announced in a statement Friday.
The Huxtable’s Kitchen salads include diced red onions from Gills Onions, a California farm whose produce has been recalled due to a potential listeria bacteria contamination, Huxtable’s president Jason Knight told the Daily News.
Listeria is a potentially lethal bacteria whose subsequent infection, listeriosis, has a mortality rate of roughly 20 percent, according to the California Department of Public Health. READ MORE  "Excuse me sir, May I get an order of beinki's own colloidal silver on the side?"
